The Easter Bunny is on his way ...
Hooray for Spring! The days are longer and the sun is warmer. Coffee is now being taken outside allowing us to be generally more social with friendly natter and perky banter. KB HQ has been relocated to the beach. We like to call it it ‘blue sky thinking’, our claim being that we are ‘like so much more creative ya’ and of course has nothing whatsoever to do with the fish finger sandwiches from the wonderful Noisy Lobster Café. Its just good luck on our part that we can plan, diarise, book and organise from our seats by the sea whilst indulging in our most favourite lunch!
KB the brand is most definitely evolving. We are taking on a much more ‘styling’ path with the diary booked with photo shoots for editorials and interior styling for show homes. Our latest shoots have been for Pennyfarthing Homes plus we have the great pleasure of working with the fabulous photographer, Adam Lynk at The Chewton Glen Hotel and the stunning location that is Buckland Manor.
The gifting side of the business is no less important although taking on a slightly different slant in the guise of pop up shops. These are planned for the Autumn and we are super excited! So far we have shops organised here on the South Coast, Sussex and in London. We will also be bringing along some of our most popular styling props for you to buy and use in your own homes.
In the next couple of weeks we will be hotfooting it to The British Craft Trade Fair to look at new, up and coming designers for inspiration for our the pop up shops and forthcoming styling commitments. We will be looking for cutting edge design in textiles, glassware and ceramics, fabulous and funky jewellery designers with an emphasis on the ‘wow’ factor. Generally sourcing fabulous items for our modern customers.
We will be keeping you updated on our diary so you can come and visit us at one of our KB locations.
Finally, big up to our very own Mr Kempton aka: the KB Money Man. He is running the Virgin London Marathon in a few weeks for our KB charity, The Stroke Association. Its very close to home for us and we are super proud of him. Go JK GO!
Happy Easter one and all…
