You know its close when ‘I’m a Celebrity’ is over for another year, the Strictly and XFactor finals are imminent and the Supermarket offers you a chocolate as a thank you for waiting patiently in the queue.
I am particularly excited to be home this year as this time last year, family Kempton were preparing to go Stateside for the festivities. Now having experienced all that the US has to offer, I can conclude there is no where quite like home for Christmas and no –one does it better than us Brits. We are, most definitely, a wonderful nation of Christmas lovers.
So the tree is up, Stan (the stag) has his place on my kitchen wall and the whole house sparkles. We are expecting a houseful all over the holidays and I (at least in my mind) will morph into Nigella in a flurry of mince pies and one too many glasses of fizz. The fat pants have been purchased and are poised and ready for slim- line action. I just can’t wait!
2015 has been an epic year and marks the birth of our baby that is, KemptonBranson. It has been a busy old time for us at HQ as we are now getting our heads out of Christmas and into all things 2016. Planning, preparing and excited to start the New Year with a host of fab ideas up our sleeves. But I won’t start banging on about our amazing Valentines Gift now because that would just be weird.
So all it leaves for me to do on behalf of us both is to thank you so much for your wonderful support and to wish you all a very Happy Christmas.
