Those of you that know us KB gals will be aware that we love a glass of wine from time to time. Because the summer is upon us (no, it really is, I read it in the Daily Mail) we need expert guidance on what should be in the fridge or on the side to get us through the impending and somewhat lengthy school summer holidays.
We are therefore delighted to share with you that the entirely fabulous Knackered Mother herself, Helen McGinn, she of the Knackered Mothers Wine Club will be joining us at our private Macmillan Summer Lights Party later this month.
Helen will be showcasing 12 wines that she feels work for long sundrenched evenings and lighter summer dining!
Helen says: ‘Together with the completely brilliant Laithwaites, I’ve put together an End of Term wine case with twelve bottles including sparkling, white, rose and red wines to see you through (at least some) of the summer holidays! The case would normally sell for £120 but as an exclusive offer for KMWC readers it’s £80, giving an average bottle price of £6.50 - amazing value! Come and have a taste of what’s in the case before it’s released on the 1st July…chin chin!”
Please note - we had to make this event invite only due to physical space and an unseasonably wobbly weather forecast! There will be more ;-)
