The season of chunky knits and cosy throws ...
Well here we are in September and whilst many are mourning the loss of summer, Kempton and I are nuzzling up to our rail of chunky knits, funky tracky pants and casting our eyes, not that subtly, over all the lovely pictures of cosy rooms on Pinterest, you can never own too many throws!
Living in the New Forest the change in season happens right in front of our eyes and the colours are spectacular. It’s an ideal time to get out and really make the most of morning mists and beautiful sunsets, as well as appreciating the wide-open spaces.
By contrast, next week we are off to the Top Drawer event in London where we’ll get to do our winter interiors and gift buying. To say we are excited is an understatement! We have a very clear idea of what we’re after and have carried out‘extensive research’ over the summer, on the beach, while we ate ice cream, and slathered on sun cream. Perhaps not as extensive as we thought!
In the run up to Christmas we are busy from every angle, with 7 sales booked in (all to be rounded up and published shortly on the website and on Facebook) and two substantial styling contracts for privates homes, plus last major festive shoot in the middle of next month. Just hoping the humidity levels have dropped a little by then!
